SteppingOUT - location

One clear morning I stood and looked out to sea

This filled me with a deep sense of peace and tranquility

How could I capture this feeling to share

so I got out my art book and looked out with a stare

A normal bland beach with nothing to see?

or a giant great canvas to create what I see

The ideas flooded out with such a great force

I knew I had something, could it be more?

So I got close and personal inspecting the ground

looking with new eyes to see beauty unfound

A sacred little place so easy to find

but only if you are wandering with a clear mind

I call it the secret but its nothing new

Its been standing here forever waiting for you

Discover the beauty in the simplicity of things

feel the great power and unleash that which lies within

So I turned on the social media desperate to find

an inviting invitation showing what I intend to create

But how to express feelings

and the natural joy

I am working on canvas with paint and some glue

I'm hoping to show something that you will like too

I have nothing to loose and my sanity to gain

this shall be featured in every last grain!

Up close and personal, down in the sand

I have a wonderful feeling this will all be rather grand

The destination of this adventure is approaching

part of the journey will be done

Flecks of gold colour in champagne and all

Bring all your friends, come one and come all

It's free at the beach, so bring a good mat!
